Coursework Credit from advanced placement testing programs and Dual Credit coursework
Does the Pharmacy Program accept Advanced Placement(AP) test scores, Credit by Examination, or Dual Credit coursework earned in high school for prepharmacy courses?
The University of Texas at El Paso recognizes academic achievement acquired b by students' successful performance in Advanced Placement programs, college courses taken while in high school (Dual Credit) and participation/completion of the International Baccalaureate program.
Pharmacy Students possessing Advanced Placement Exams results, credit by examination results, or International Baccalaureate test scores should have these test scores forwarded to UTEP when available.
Students who successfully complete college courses while in high school may transfer these credits to UTEP. In order to receive credit, students must successfully complete the course(s) and provide an official transcript sent directly form the college or university awarding the course credit(s).
Coursework is awarded by UTEP according to policies in place at the time.
