Dr. Delfina Cisnero-Dominguez, Associate Professor in the Clinical Laboratory Science program recently received the 2009 Sembrador Del Bien Award this evening for her work in supporting the El Centro de Los Trabajadores Agrícoloas Fronterizos.  Well-known to her colleagues and students at UTEP as an accomplished researcher, educator and mentor,  Dr. Dominguez has organized an annual health fair for farmworkers and their families, insuring that attendees will receive services and education often otherwise unavailable.
