Most of the above students are in the process of completing the DPT bridge curriculum, and will graduate with their DPT in December 2011.
Students and faculty from Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology traveled to Antigua Guatemala in August 2011 for an international service-learning component of an interdisciplinary global health elective course.

Class of 2011 PT students collaborated with OT students on a service-learning project in Spring 2010 semester to fabricate specialty vests for local therapy dogs.
Class of 2011 PT students collaborated with OT students on a service-learning project to build vestibular boards, and then donated them to local Early Childhood Intervention occupational therapists and physical therapists.
Class of 2011 PT students collaborated with OT students on a service-learning project to build weighted vests, and then donated them to local Early Childhood Intervention occupational therapists and physical therapists for use with local pediatric patients.
Students from the Class of 2011 volunteered for the Miracle League of El Paso on October 6, 2009. The mission of the Miracle League is to provide opportunities for children with disabilities, no matter what their levels of abilities, to play baseball.
